Don’t miss the vibes in 2021! The 45th Annual Utah Arts Festival Returns to Downtown Salt Lake City, August 27-29.
After a year off, the Utah Arts Festival is back to bring world-class festival vibes to Library Square in downtown Salt Lake City from August 27-29. Now in its 45th year, it is the state’s largest outdoor multi-disciplinary arts event, featuring hundreds of new and diverse performances, musicians, visual artists, food, film, and more.
Festival-goers can revel in live music from local and national bands, watch a poetry slam, catch a short film, discover new local visual artists, witness the creation of a graffiti mural, and visit our Creative Zone, where people of all ages can make their own artistic creations. Then, enjoy local food, adventurous treats, and craft beverage vendors.
New in 2021 is our Friday Soul Party, in collaboration with KRCL. Get your dance on all day with national and local performers, including headliner The Nth Power, Will Baxter Band, and more. Other musical headliners on Saturday and Sunday include Las Cafeteras and Jeff Crosby and the Refugees.
This will also be the first year that people can buy digital tickets online ahead of time and receive a QR code that can simply be scanned from their phone or paper print out at any of the entrances. There’s no need to wait in line to buy tickets. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at uaf.org/tix.
As is the case every year, the Utah Arts Festival relies on volunteers to help create the vibes. Without these thoughtful and helpful people, there wouldn’t be a Festival. Volunteer applications are now being accepted for a variety of different positions that help make the Utah Arts Festival a success. Those interested in volunteering can apply at uaf.org/volunteers
The 45th Annual Utah Arts Festival will include almost 100 visual artists, seven performing venues of national and local musicians, dance performers, urban artists, and more literary artists than ever, plus musical commissions, opera performances, film screenings, and culinary arts. Plus, people can roll up their sleeves and make their own craft projects in the Creative Zone.
