This event with Cuarteto Latinoamericano focuses on Mexican music and painting.
Cuarteto Latinoamericano is one of the world's most renowned classical music ensembles, for more than thirty years the leading proponent of Latin American music for string quartet. Founded in Mexico in 1982, the Cuarteto were winners of the 2012 and 2016 Latin Grammys for Best Classical Recordings and have three times received Chamber Music America/ASCAP's "Most Adventurous Programming" Award. The concert will focus on the music and art of the time of Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera as well as other prominent painters and composers, featuring projections of art and the artists as well as commentary from a leading expert on Mexican art.

Advance tickets go on sale in late August. Tickets also are available at the box office on the night of the concert.
Individual tickets are $24, with student tickets priced at $10. Full subscriptions to the five-concert series are $96, or $40 for students. Flex subscriptions to three concerts are $66, or $27 for students.
