The Motor Cinema is situated on the motion picture studio backlot of Redman Movies & Stories. You will enjoy a unique experience featuring the nostalgia of classic drive-in movie theaters, where real movie-theater popcorn is part of the fun!

The SLFS Studio Backlot Motor Cinema is a semi-permanent, seasonal drive-in that is officially the third location of Salt Lake Film Society, created in partnership with our marquee sponsor, Redman Movies & Stories. SLFS is the nonprofit operator of Broadway Centre Cinemas and the historic Tower Theatre. Our Studio Backlot Motor Cinema will provide fun summer events for years to come.

Movie start time is SUNSET. The lot opens 1 hour prior to sunset and no vehicles are guaranteed admittance after the movie begins. We suggest arriving early.
