After a 17-month delay due to COVID-19, The Chocolatier is back!

The five Chocolatiers are opening the doors to their home, revealing their stories and relationships, as complicated as their chocolate making techniques.

A company of dancers, actors, and artists transform Lila Studio in Sugarhouse into a multi-sensory dance-theatre experience where only 40 audience members enter the lives and minds of this team of chocolatiers as they balance their passions for chocolate with their passions for one another.

Move freely throughout this multi-room venue, where you choose who to follow; and sometimes, they choose you.

The Chocolatier (formerly known as Thank you Theobromine) is back with a new cast, telling stories that intertwine complex family, friend, and romantic relationships with the complexities of a life full of creative drive. This is an evening of immersive dance-theatre unlike anything you have ever experienced.

Led by the same visionary artist behind 2020-21’s drive-in Through Yonder Window; THE CAROUSEL at Dreamscapes; Hemingway and The Byrd at CytyByrd Cafe; and 2017’s Sonder at what is now Cafe Molise; SONDERimmersive is back with The Chocolatier.
