Rachel Kibler will perform a free recital of largely new music on September 26th at 4pm at Zion Lutheran Church (1070 Foothill Drive, SLC, 84108). New work composed by Lloyd Livengood, Ezra Donner, Charles McGraw. Work by David Chamberlin. Published work by Amy Beach, John Duke, Benjamin Britten. Rachel will be joined by Melissa Livengood (piano), David Chamberlin (organ), Milagra Bauer McGee (clarinet), and Sally Foreman Humphreys (flute). All the pieces are modern settings of older poetry, including Sara Teasdale, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, W.B. Yeats, and William Wordsworth.

This is intended to be a celebration. The performers will all be in black tie, and the audience is encouraged to dress up for the occasion, but a t-shirt and jeans are just fine too. Light reception to follow. Masks required.
