This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a “play within a play” that portrays a group of performers presenting a radio broadcast for a live studio audience on Christmas Eve, 1946.

With the help of an ensemble cast bringing dozens of characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers the worth of his life with the earnest help of his guardian angel, Clarence. This show is interspersed with sound effects, advertisement jingles, songs and jokes evoking the Christmas spirit of the post World War II era. We are looking for fun ensemble actors to portray the performers who create multiple characters in the style of a “1940’s radio show” to be performed before a live audience. This show will be directed by Kristen Hughes.

This 1-hour show will open on Nov. 29 and play each Mon., Wed. , Fri. , and Sat. at 6:30 until closing night Dec. 18.
