POSTPONED
Left incomplete at the time of his death, the “Requiem in D minor” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart stands as one of the great choral masterworks. The Salt Lake Choral Artists open their 2021-2022 season with a Utah Premiere of a new reconstruction of this hauntingly beautiful piece by German musicologist, conductor, and composer Michael Ostrzyga.
The performance will include a short pre-concert lecture to reveal details of this new edition, as well as to enlighten the listener to the genius of “Amadeus” and how gifted he was as a composer, even until his last breath, and the details of this new edition. Featuring Carol Ann Allred, soprano; Kirstin Chavez, mezzo-soprano; Brian Stucki, tenor; Tyler Oliphant, bass; with the SLCA Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Vocal Artists with Chamber Orchestra.
Tickets available online and at the door. All tickets are general admission.
