Caring Connections: A Hope and Comfort in Grief Program will hold its annual Grief and the Holidays event on November 9, 2021 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm online via Zoom. Grief and the Holidays is an opportunity for individuals to come together and cope with the loss of a family member or friend while keeping the memory of that loved one alive during the difficult holiday season. This year’s theme is “Making Peace with Grief.” Our program will have two featured speakers this year. Josh Hansen is a retired US Army veteran and co-founder of ContinueMission, which serves veterans through recreation and fellowship. We will also hear from Jennie Taylor who is the Gold Star widow of Major Brent Taylor. Brent Taylor served as Mayor of North Ogden before he returned to active duty. Musical accompaniment will be provided.
