About the Instructor: Born in Salt Lake City, lizzie wenger has long been inspired by the diverse, fragile, and colorful landscapes that Utah has to offer. After her father’s passing at age twelve, lizzie began to explore healing from grief with the outdoors serving as a guide. Her time spent in the mountains and deserts of Utah and surrounding areas cultivated a deep sense of care, protection, bewilderment, and inspiration within her. Through the medium of acrylic, lizzie hopes to share her experience with and inspire others, and to encourage stewardship of our beloved landscapes.
