Bountiful Davis Art Center is pleased to announce the return of Family Art Night on Monday Oct 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM!

Learn about the ancient day of the dead tradition that captures a great legacy of traditions in Mexico. The days of the dead are truly a celebration of life. When children dance with caricatures of death, eat skull sugar molds and learn to respect that life is brief, they learn there is a circle to life and to not fear death. They are then free to enjoy and appreciate every moment.

We'll be learning how to make a niche. Please bring a picture (5x7 or smaller) of the loved one to whom the niche is being dedicated. It can also be a pet. Also, bring small representative objects that remind you of that person or pet. This program is brought to you in partnership with Artes de México en Utah
