Join experts from NHMU to learn about and look for local squirrels, and find out how you can inform scientific research by looking for and recording your squirrel observations in Utah, including those all important Fox Squirells!
The Museum's curator of vertebrates and resident squirell expert, Dr. Eric Rickart, will be making short presentations on the hour:

The event will take place at YouthCity within Liberty Park, at 1031 600 E in Salt Lake City.
This is an informal, family-friendly, outdoor event. Join us whenever you are able, and come prepared to explore outside!

This Citizen Science data gathering event on December 4 will be held before Squirrel Fest starts on Dec. 6th. Squirrel Fest is a weeklong Citizen Science initiative during which NHMU invites the public to contribute their observations of Utah's squirrels to help us better understand their distribution throughout the state.
