2022 Snowshoe with a Naturalist

Presented by Alta Ski Area and Cottonwood Canyons Foundation at Alta Ski Area

Look for animal tracks and see the history of Alta all while surrounded by some of Utah's most beautiful mountains.

The Cottonwood Canyons Foundation is proud to partner with Alta to offer $10 per person, naturalist-led snowshoe tours through Alta's famous powder! Look for animal tracks and learn about the wildlife that left them, all while surrounded by some of Utah's most beautiful mountains. Naturalist guides talk about everything from animal adaptations and trees, to the history of Little Cottonwood Canyon and Alta!

Warm jacket

Gloves
Layers of warm clothing
Snowshoes are not provided, so please bring your own set of snowshoes. Snowshoe rentals are available at the Alta Ski Shop.

Where to meet
15 minutes before noon outside the east end of the Albion Day Lodge near the ski racks.

Admission Info

Pre-registration and payment are required to secure your spot! Snowshoe tours are limited, so registration for a particular date will be pending our email confirmation after you have submitted this form. The $10 fee does apply for this event and all proceeds go to support Cottonwood Canyons Foundation. For more info email volunteer@cottonwoodcanyons.org.
