Dr. Harris will review the spectacular fossils at the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site, while touching on some of the other fossils in the area, as well as what future discoveries might look like.
Dr. Jerry Harris was born in Chicago, Illinois and became enamored with dinosaurs from an early age. His continued fascination with all things dino-related has lead to a lifelong interest and career. Jerry earned his B.A., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in geosciences, focusing on vertebrate paleontology. He worked at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. He is currently the Director of Paleontology and a Professor of Geology at Dixie State University and the scientific advisor to the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm.
