From that foundation, we will explore atmospheric perspective, color, and the importance of shapes. We will also focus on simplifying your composition and how to capture mood in your work. Ellen will give you the tools, knowledge, and encouragement you need to build your paintings with confidence so you can enjoy the process, as well as the outcome. She will talk about how to create a positive mindset so learning can be fun and how taking more risks in your work can lead to more successes in the future.
Ellen will do demonstrations each day and work with you on an individual basis. The last day we will do a critique of all the work created during the workshop.
