Trees provide a critical link to human life on our beautiful planet. They breathe in CO2 and exhale oxygen. They provide cooling shade and habitat for wildlife, while nurturing the important subterranean biosphere. Trees are rooted in the earth and reach to the sky, inspiring artists & writers through all time.
Trees: Aspiration & Inspiration for Our Future invites students to express to express their own perspectives, celebrating trees and their lifegiving impacts, practical, emotional, and mysterious. Our goal is to inspire students to reflect on the importance of trees and the support they quietly provide to all the earth’s inhabitants.
Entries were judged on creativity, artistic merit, connection to the theme, and emotional impact. Student artworks are complimented by contextual displays that parallel the theme of the exhibit.
