Salt Lake Symphonic Winds

Presented by Salt Lake Symphonic Winds at Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center

The Salt Lake Symphonic Winds is looking forward to returning to the Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center for a performance on May 10. The address is 2525 W Taylorsville Boulevard, Taylorsville Utah.

The ensemble will perform various selections, including Liturgical Dances by David Holsinger, Roger Nixon’s Elegy and Fanfare-March and Armenian Dances by Alfred Reed, which was based on Armenian folk songs from the collected works of Gomidas Vartabed, the founder of Armenian classical music. The repertoire will also include works by Paul Hindemith and Percy Aldridge Grainger.
