August 2- Lourdres Villalobo Mariposa

Paint a very colorful and Beautiful Butterfly in the style of Hispanic Artist Lourdres Villabobo.  After learning about the artist, you will learn how to mix color and paint her transcendent geometric style.

August 3- Honeybee Habitat

Honeybees are such an important part of our environment.  Using collage and painting creates a foldable environment for this important natural resource.

August 4- Luna Moth

After reading a story about this beautiful creature. Using Pastel and Black paper, create a luminous drawing using observation and color of a beautiful Luna Moth.

August 5- Insect Shadow Puppets

Set your own stage and recreate the summer nights with an insect shadow puppet show.  Learn how to trace and cut out your own shadow puppets in insect form, they have a small performance with your classmates.
