Dark Sky Discovery Series | Saturn, the Moon, and a Meteor Shower

Dark Sky Discovery Series | Saturn, the Moon, and a Meteor Shower

Presented by Utah Humanities and Canyon Country Discovery Center at Canyon Country Discovery Center

Tonight we get some of the best views of Saturn that we will get all year. We also have an almost full moon and the largest meteor shower of the year. We will also be discussing the importance of water "out there". What does water mean to the exploration of our moon and solar system? This will be an action packed night!

This event accompanies H2O Today, a traveling Smithsonian exhibition touring Utah in partnership with Utah Humanities and Canyon Country Discovery Center. The tour is part of Think Water Utah, a statewide collaboration and conversation on the critical topic of water presented by Utah Humanities and its partners.
