The World Beneath: Underwater Photography

The World Beneath: Underwater Photography

Presented by Salt Lake County Library Services at Online/Virtual Space

See the beauty beneath the surface and discover the magic of underwater photography with award-winning photographer Tom St George.

Based in Tulum, Mexico, St George is best known for his award-winning images of the cenotes and underwater caves of the Yucatán Peninsula. His work has been published in National Geographic, Forbes, Smithsonian, Wired, and several dive and photography magazines worldwide.

Originally from the United Kingdom, he discovered a passion for scuba diving and the underwater world when he emigrated to New Zealand in 2001. A decade later, the wanderlust struck again, motivating him to quit his office job, travel the world, and eventually settle in Tulum where his dual obsessions of scuba diving and photography came together.
