Hilltop Gospel Choir would like to invite you and your choir members to our First Annual Gospel Music Workshop.  There is nothing like the power of gospel music to bring a sense of the power of God and unity into our lives; it would be our honor to have you, your choir and all that love gospel music attend this exciting weekend of Coming Together as One for a Celebration of Praise!

Dr. Raymond Wise is the guest clinician.  Dr. Wise is currently on the faculty of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana where he serves as Professor of Practice in the African American African Diaspora Studies department and instructs on African American music.  He is the Associate Director of the African American Arts Institute, an IU division devoted to the perpetuation and performance of African American music.  As a composer, Dr. Wise has penned more than 600 compositions performed and recorded by local, national and international artists.

Workshops sessions include- Vocal Technique, Musical Performance, and African American Sacred and Gospel Music History. Rehearsals of selected music to be performed by the workshop choir on the afternoon of Sunday, September 18th.
