The Cedar City Arts Council’s June Art Walk

CEDAR CITY, UT: Final Friday Art Walks start on June 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. Live music and art extend from Artisans Gallery to the Southern Utah Museum of Art. This free public event is designed for the entire family and is sponsored by the Cedar City Arts Council.

Musicians will include Coyote Bluegrass, Roice Nelson, the band Runaway Fire, guitarist Peter Buis plus duo Stan and Lindsay Szczesny. Two spots are open. To be added to the schedule contact cedarcityartscouncil@gmail.com.

Visual artists include Teri McHale, Frank & Maryliz Harris, Larry Laskowski, Hanna Dawson, Joey Favino, Kimber Gardner, and many others. Exhibits will be at the corner of 100 West Center, at Stone Path, and at the Johnson Center (59 N. 100 West).  Artisans Gallery will be open as well as the Southern Utah Museum of Art.

At IG Winery you can see “Shimmer”, the new "Siren of the Vineyard" installation. The sculpture was created by Jacob Dean and is welded steel. The piece sits 10 feet wide by 6 feet high.
