Renaissance Now Theatre & Film\\\'s 2022 season includes a Festival in Repertory of two beloved Shakespeare plays, Much Ado About Nothing and MacBeth, opening at the Castle Amphitheatre in Provo July 15 & 16th playing through July 23.  Much Ado About Nothing, opening July 15th ($5 opening night tickets) is directed by M. Chase Grant, who has crafted this classic comedy contemporarily, placing the action “somewhere in Korea” during the Korean war, with characters experiencing the up’s and down’s of daily life in the 1623rd Mobile Army Surgical Hospital, or M*A*S*H.  The adaptation features Liz Golden as Beatrice, Jeff Denison as Benedick, Adam Argyle as the Don, M. Chase Grant as Leonato, Olympia Pead as Hero, and Anton Moss as Claudio. Comics include Stephano Puertas, Mason Tarwater, Michael Hess, Zach Ballard, Casey Copier, Amy Carlin, Seven Harrison, and Lucy Golden.  The scrapes and ventures of these beloved comic characters, along with the resonance from the M*A*S*H setting is sure to please. It plays in repertory with MacBeth every other night:  Much Ado playing on July 15, 18, 20 & 22.
