Join us in celebrating the best of Utah’s creative community on August 12-14 at the 14th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented By Harmons! This year’s DIY Fest will be our biggest yet with over 350 local artisans, vintage vendors, foodies, youth entrepreneurs, performers, & STEM exhibitors over three days the second weekend of August at the Utah State Fairpark!

On Friday, August 12, the DIY Fest is proud to present a headlining performance from singer/songwriter Joshua James. There’s no better way to watch the headlining performance than from the Harmons VIP Lounge! The Harmons VIP Lounge offers attendees access to an autograph session with the headliner, Joshua James from 7-8 p.m., two complimentary cocktail tickets, shaded seat access with priority view of the stage for Joshua James’ performance and craft food bites from 10 different local craft food purveyors hand-selected by Harmons.

The Google Fiber STEM Building will feature local tinkerers, tech startups, nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. This is a unique opportunity for festival-goers to engage with local experts from the fields of science, math, technology and engineering. Festival attendees can engage with several fun and informative hands-on STEM craft activities in addition to the Google Fiber Water Rocket Launches!

The DIY Fest offers tons of fun activities for kids! Our dedicated Kids’ Area Leave Your MARK Park Presented By Mark Miller Subaru features craft stations for kids of all ages, a bounce house, and so much more!

Throughout the Festival, attendees will have an opportunity to drop by our two DIY Stations where you can sit down and complete a quick, easy, and fun craft project for free! Festival-goers can contribute to a mural with The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art and see their work on display in the museum, or create a modular landscape drawing with The Utah Museum of Fine Art while learning the science behind the color of the sky.
