Charity Play is proud to present the mulit-Tony Award winning comedic musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder.  Set in London in 1907, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder centers on Monty Navarro, a penniless clerk who is informed after the death of his mother that he is ninth in line to inherit the earldom of Highhurst, controlled by the wealthy D’Ysquith banking family. After the imperious ruling Lord dismisses Monty’s claim of being a relative, the eight D’Ysquiths ahead of young Mr. Navarro begin dying in natural and unnatural ways. Meanwhile, Monty is trying to woo money-minded Sibella Hallward —until he finds himself drawn to young Phoebe D’Ysquith. How will all these convoluted storylines come together?

Charity Play is a charity that raises funds for other charities through theatrical performances.  This show's beneficial charity is Spotlight Performance Arts Center.  Spotlight focuses on giving youth an opportunity to develop performing skills through their in-house academy as well as providing theater experiences through elementary and jr. high schools in Northern Utah.

Utah based Charity Play's mission is to provide a more enjoyable way for others to support charitable/non-profit organizations through high quality, high value theatrical experiences.  Utilizing top talent in performers, costumes and set design, Charity play wants the patrons to feel they got a far higher quality show than their ticket price would denote--while allowing both patrons and actors to do some good in their communities.
