Sunday Series is the reincarnation of Mudson Performance Series, loveDANCEmore’s long-running program that lasted through 2019. During our first decade, we produced over 150 new dances and paid out more than $20,000 in stipends to local choreographers. loveDANCEmore also presented artists from around the world including Raja Feather Kelly, Miguel Gutierrez, Juan Aldape, Karinne Keithley-Syers, Carolina Tabares, Ishmael Houston-Jones, Julie Dash, David Rousseve, and Paula Pfoser.
Taking place across three Sundays this fall, our second year of Sunday Series continues that legacy, as well as addressing the dirth of cultural activities available to the Utah public on Sundays.
Join us this Sunday September 25, at 7:30 pm for new works by Atticus J. Reo, Lehua Estrada and Karina Villalba.

Join us for an exploration of the political consequences of art making activities in Salt Lake City and its communities along racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic lines, moderated by loveDANCEmore Artist-in-Residence Stephanie García. This event, presented in collaboration with ProARTES México and Artes de México en Utah, will also be an opportunity to connect with David Herrera, co-founder of Latinx Hispanic Dancers United. LHDU is an annual symposium based in California that we are working to reimagine in satellite form in SLC as early as 2023. This event may also include special performance guests. Stephanie and David will be joined by Fanny Blauer (Artes de México en Utah), Fausto Rivera (RWDC), and Karina Villalba.
