Join us as we celebrate three new astronomy-themed art installations by local artists, connecting park visitors with the wonders of space. This day-long event will take place in three separate locations on Saturday, Sept. 17. Each site will have a unique installation and unique activities.
• 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Taylorsville Recreation Center
Sun and Moon installation by Lenka Konopasek
Activities: Make Your Own Sundial and Scale of the Solar System
• 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Pleasant Green Park
Night Life installation by Karl Hale
Activities: Star Origami and Sun Telescopes
• 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Yellow Fork Canyon Trailhead
Transcendent Utah Sky installation by Tooza
Activities: Tin Can Constellation Lanterns
