October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The Refuge Utah is holding a candlelight walk for domestic violence awareness.
The walk will begin at The Historic Courthouse: 51 S. University Ave, Provo, UT 84601. A speech will be given at the Historic Courthouse.
The walk will end at Pioneer Park: 500 W. Center St. Provo, UT 84601. The walk is 0.7 of a mile. You can still attend even if you will not be participating in the walk. There will be music and light refreshments provided at Pioneer Park.
James Perry will be the Master of Ceremonies for this event. Monica Moore Smith and Lyndsey Jackson will give speeches. Amanda Lynn Jones will be performing music.
