Carillons – a new work by BYU faculty composer Neil Thomock – will be the centerpiece of this recital by Alexander Woods, violin, and Rex Woods, piano. The “energy, melodic inspiration, and coloristic imagination” (Fanfare) of Thomock’s music will be on full display. Music by Estonian composer Arvo Part will round out an evening of beautiful sonic landscapes.
