Art Class/Demonstration by Ken Ragsdaleand Bill Vincent

his class will be demonstrating how to create “basket illusion” art pieces. It will include an explanation of the processes and tools required.

Ken Ragsdale:

Ken Ragsdale is a full-time self-taught wood artist. He creates artistic pieces by carving, burning, and painting his designs in solid pieces of wood. He is affiliated with the Southern Utah Woodturners, Southern Utah Art Guild, and other organizations. He has exhibited in numerous galleries and shows in the Southwest.

Bill Vincent:

About 25 years ago, Bill Vincent learned woodturning (after tiring of many other hobbies). Now, he has a great group of like-minded friends and has been a member of the Southern Utah Woodturners since 2016 – where he served in various capacities such as president, vice president, and “the raffle guy.” He has exhibited in numerous galleries including Red Cliff Gallery.
