Presented by Park City Institute at George S. & Dolores Dore Eccles Center for the Performing Arts

BalletNEXT will make its debut at the Eccles Center Stage in Park City. The program will take you on a musical journey from Tchaikovsky to Steve Reich. One of the highlights will be the Park City premiere of Surmisable Units which is set to Steve Reich’s “Piano Phase” and opens with a solo by Wiles, who is then joined by a cast of 5 BalletNEXT dancers.

The music will be played on two pianos with one pianist, Elliott Figg, who is a graduate of the Historical Performance Program at the Juilliard School. Choreography by Brian Reeder former dancer with William Forsythe, NYCB, and ABT.

BalletNEXT founded in 2011 by former principal ballerina of American Ballet Theatre Michele Wiles, BalletNEXT is a platform to collaborate with world-class dancers, choreographers, and musicians, encouraging risk-taking as the company creates unexpected performances.
