Our next Southern Utah Art Guild show at the Red Cliff Gallery will be the “Capturing the Light” art show and will run from February 17 through March 23, 2023.

Art check-in will be Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 12-5 pm. You may enter up to 3 pieces. All media may be entered.

You must be a paid 2023 Southern Utah Art Guild member to enter (Join the Guild). Please see below for the Show Application and Back of Artwork Tags that are required for show registration. We encourage you to fill these out before arriving on the day of registration.

Artist Awards Reception will be held Friday, February 17, from 6-8 pm with live music and refreshments. Art pickup is Friday, March 24, from 8 am-12 pm.

The judging criteria for this show are:
·     Creativity
·     Composition
·     Adherence to the theme

The award system includes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and honorable mentions for each of the 3 categories: 2D wall art (all painting, drawing, pastels, and mixed media), photography, and 3D art.

Awards for all shows:
·     Best of Show- $125 (overall show)
·     1st Place- $75 for each Category
·     2nd Place - $50 each Category
·     3rd Place - $35 for each Category
·     8 Honorable Mentions (4 for painting and 2 each for photography and 3D)
·     People’s Choice Award from previous art show - $30
