Join us to discuss road ecology and wildlife movement in Utah and across the west.
Roads are one of the largest human impacts on the earth, and wildlife movement across them not only affects wildlife survival, but the safety of motorists. In the US alone, there are over 4 million miles of roads. Join the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter and Wildlands Network with panelists from Utah Department of Transportation and Utah’s Division of Wildlife Resources to discuss road ecology and wildlife movement in Utah and across the west. How can you help contribute to data collection? Which species are moving and migrating, in what locations, and how do we know? What projects are in the works for Utah and beyond?
Event is free; please register in advance for a spot.
