Be transported to the iconic works of Banksy through state-of-the-art animated projections, laser projectors, and immersive sound and music. Get up close and personal with the street artist’s most famous pieces, including “Flower Thrower” and “Rude Copper” and witness the politically charged messages that have made him one of the most respected and beloved contemporary artists of our time.
The Artist
While speculation continues, the true identity of Banksy remains unconfirmed. He has evaded authorities who have attempted to hold him accountable for, among other things, defacing public places and at the same time, become one of the world’s most beloved contemporary artists.
A Catalyst for Conversation
“Banksy in Motion” is certain to serve as a catalyst for conversation around the social and political issues Banksy highlights in his pieces — from war and conflict to climate change and inequality, to refugees and more. We hope our visitors will leave the exhibit feeling inspired and engaged, and that our accompanying programs and community discussions will encourage further learning and dialogue around these important topics.
