Walk off the beaten path and discover what the earth has to offer for some creative fun!  Campers will learn about basic elements of design while taking inspiration from famous artists and nature. Campers will produce fun installation style  art and small individual artworks using natural materials such as stones, vegetation, and mud. Campers will finish the week with editable art pieces to share.

Daily Itinerary:

Monday:

Introduction to Part 1 - elements of design earth art.
DIY natural brushes and mud huts

Tuesday:

Introduction to Part 2 - elements of design earth art.
Painting with natural dies on cotton and sun prints construction paper.

Wednesday:

Introduction to Part 3 - elements of design and earth art
Mud putty, natural mandalas and begin installations with natural materials.

Thursday:

Introduction to Part 4 - elements of design and earth art
Finish mud hits with thatched roofs and finish installations.

Friday:

Pinecone bird seed feeders, collage with natural materials, and edible art.
End with rain stick talk time.
