In this workshop with local lettering artist Betsy Goodman, you will learn how to write script lettering, how to draw decorative floral elements, how to center, left and right justify postal addresses, then how to apply all of these skills to create gorgeous cards & envelopes. Betsy will then show you the secrets to creating perfect wax seals to use as the “cherry on top” to send off your correspondences with. You’ll be sure to wow your loved ones with this elegant stationery handmade by you! Each attendee will receive a supply kit which includes: 5 cards and envelopes in fun colors, a fine tip marker pen and pencil, Betsy’s lettering workbook with instructions/examples and tracing paper, as well as supplies to make 10 wax seals. No experience is required (beginners welcome!) & all supplies are provided.
