Hot House West Swing Orchestra

The dazzling fourteen-piece flagship ensemble of the Hot House West nonprofit 501(c)(3), has been captivating audiences since its inception in Salt Lake City in 2022. Embodying a unique personality, the band masterfully fuses the virtuosic and soulful sounds of Django Reinhardt with their Western roots and American swing influences, creating a truly distinct musical experience.

Characterized by their harmonious group vocals, exceptional guitar and violin playing, and an unwavering love for the joy of swing music, the Hot House West Swing Orchestra brings an infectious energy to every performance. This tight-knit group of talented musicians is united by their shared passion for preserving and promoting the rich heritage of jazz and swing music, while simultaneously injecting their own creative flair into each note.

A 501 C3 working to create more and better performance opportunities for Utah musicians. Since we started in December of 2005, we have presented roughly 750 events.

We work with a wide range of musical styles. We are less interested in rock, and pop styles than in genres such as jazz, classical, Celtic, gypsy swing, folk, Broadway, French, Cabaret and the list goes on.
