Art Class for Teens and Adults focused on Illustration Style Drawing
Drawing with Style
Illustration is a creative practice with a focus in storytelling. It can be the perfect mashup of fine art and graphic design! Each project will support you in experimenting with different principals of design, while giving you room to develop a personal style based on your own passions and influences. Come learn about the visual power of design principals like color, line, texture, and more, while improving your drawing skills! This class will use a combination of traditional mediums and digital programs like Procreate and Adobe Photoshop. Students can bring their own technology, but VAI can provide tech to be used during class if needed.
A supply list will be sent to you a week prior to the beginning of classes.

Teen and Adult 12-week classes for the fall 2023 term cost $299. Students will be required to bring most of their own supplies. Financial Assistance may be available to you, contact for more information.

This 12-week class is held on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 PM. Begins on Thursday, September 14th and ends on Thursday, December 7th. No classes will be held the week of Thanksgiving.
