Hutchings Museum presents...Explorers League Summer Camp 2024!
Explorers League Camp is for students going into 1st - 8th grade. These 4-day camps run from Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM- 2 PM throughout June and July (see website for date details).
Camps are $150. Campers will need to bring their own lunch,
About Explorers League Summer Camp
Each day will feature a different topic:
Tuesday - Rocks and Minerals
Tuesday will focus on rocks and geology. We will go over rock formations with hands-on activities and crafts.
Wednesday - Fossils
Wednesday will be about dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures with hands-on experiences. Dig up your own take-home fossils. Learn about the Ice Age animals that once roamed these lands.
Thursday - Cultural History
Thursday will focus on ancient Native American culture and the settlement of the west. Try your skills as a mountain man with hands-on application and experimentation.
Friday - Wildlife
Friday will focus on the natural world around us. See live animals and learn about the wonderful world we live in.
