The City of North Salt Lake and Chevron are once again pleased to partner for the 2024 NSL Arbor Day Celebration, and we invite our NSL community to join!

This year we will be planting trees on April 27, 2024 in the new DOG PARK location! Yes, you heard correctly. The City, in conjunction with Woods Cross City, is building a dog park just north of Legacy Park.

Families, friends and groups are welcome at this event. Shovels and gloves are helpful but not required.

This annual event, with generous funding from Chevron, provides an opportunity for volunteers to assist the City's Parks Department in placing more trees per year than otherwise might be possible.

The benefits trees bring to urban environments are endless, such as shade, cleaner air, cooler temperatures and higher property values. The Arbor Day Foundation has planted nearly 500 million trees around the world since 1972.
