Join us for Camp Floyd State Park’s Artisan Day and learn from the artisans as they demonstrate their skills from 10:00 – 4:00 PM. Learn about the history of the sheep industry in Fairfield and the importance of the wool industry to Utah’s economy with wool processing demonstrations and sheep shearing demonstrations at 11:00 AM. Historically there was over 100,000 sheep sheared in Fairfield each year at the shearing corrals next to the Fairfield train station. Don’t forget to bring your money as you wander through the event’s vendor area. Museum entrance fees of $5 per person or $15 per family (immediate family only) apply.
