Celebrate Women’s History month with Historic Wendover Airfield
For Women’s History Month, Historic Wendover Airfield is offering a unique airfield tour Fridays and Saturdays in March. Women performed vital roles around the base in both military and civilian capacities in World War II. Learn more about their efforts as we visit base hospital buildings, including the infirmary and the nurses’ quarters, our C-54 aircraft, and more. Walk where so many remarkable women walked by visiting Historic Wendover Airfield.
Tours are offered Fridays at 3:00 pm (MT) and Saturdays at 10:00 am and 3:pm (MT).* The tour lasts approximately and hour and a half. Adults – $10, Youth (12-17) – $5, and children (0-11) free
