The Returning Rapids Project, with Mike Dehoff and Meg Flynn, monitors the rapidly changing, dynamic environment of the Colorado River as reservoir levels drop and old, submerged rapids re-appear, with surprising results.
The receding waters of Lake Powell have returned some of the dam-inundated areas of the Colorado River Basin to a more natural state while imperiling others, while creating new, problematic dynamics. Join this team of river rafters turned citizen scientists to hear what they've discovered about this rapidly changing environment, and how the riparian system is repairing itself.
