Library Hall Featured Concert: Miguel del Aguila and April Clayton

Monday, April 15 | 7 PM | Orem Public Library, Library Hall, Ashton Auditorium

Three-time Grammy-nominated contemporary American composer Miguel del Aguila will join flautist April Clayton for an unforgettable musical evening!

Born in Uruguay in 1957, del Aguila has established himself among the most distinctive and highly regarded composers of his generations, in over 130 works that combine drama, driving rhythms and nostalgic nods to his South American roots. His music has been hailed as “brilliant and witty” (New York Times), “sonically dazzling” (Los Angeles Times) and “expressive and dramatic” (American Record Guide).

April Clayton is a highly-sought-after soloist, recording artist, chamber musician, orchestral player and pedagogue. She is currently Artistic Director at the Gifted Music School in Salt Lake City. Clayton's highlights include touring as a guest with the New York Woodwind Quintet, soloing alongside Roberto Diaz, and being featured in a cover story by Flute Talk magazine.

Bring your family and treat your ears to this one-of-a-kind performance! This is a free event and seating is first-come, first-served. Seating will begin at 6:30 PM.
