Four days of dog lovin’ fun – sheepdog trials, family activities, food and shopping!
Come and enjoy the 20th Anniversary of the Soldier Hollow Classic Sheepdog Championship and Festival, presented by Purina Pro Plan, on the new date - May 24-27, 2024 in Midway, Utah! Founded in 2003 by Mark Petersen, this event is one of the foremost annual events of its kind in the world, drawing competitors from all over the world and 13,000+ spectators and loyal fans annually.
With four days of Competition, 8am - 5pm daily, competitors and spectators love the 2002 Olympic hillside, providing an amazing view of the sheep and dogs navigating the difficult course. The Festival, 9am - 4pm+ daily, offers educational demonstrations, children’s activities, information and sponsor booths, food/beverage and merchandise vendors, the Bohemian Brewery Beer Garden and more!
Join us on Monday for the Double Lift Championships followed by a magical hillside awards celebration, complete with 300+ sheep and the Salt Lake Scots Bagpipe Band.

ADA Parking is available close to the entrance to the event, in a paved parking area. A paved path into the event for access to bleacher and ADA seating space for the competition, ADA toilets, dining tents and vendor shopping is available. Those needing assistance around the event can utilize the complimentary Golf Cart Shuttles available at Will Call in the outer parking area, the Shuttle Tent near the dining tents, and on call from event volunteers and staff.
