The Beehive Statesmen Barbershop Chorus presents an exceptional concert in the barbershop style to celebrate their first 75 yrs of service to the Salt Lake audiences on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Mid- Valley Performing Arts Center, in Taylorsville.
The Beehive Statesmen Barbershop Chorus is pleased to present a concert in the uniquely American tradition of 4-part a’Cappella music guaranteed to appeal to music lovers of all ages. The Statesmen are celebrating their 'first 75 years' of service to the community, continuing their commitment to their motto: Service Through Singing. Now under the direction of Paul Barlow and Chris Wiggins and with the generous support of the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts and Parks program grants, the chorus performs each year for audiences throughout the region with a special focus on providing outreach and entertainment to the residents of various independent and assisted living communities. This year the chorus and members of its quartets and small groups have performed more than 20 concerts and performances throughout the region.
The chorus invites everyone to come share their pleasure in Barbershop-style music as they look forward to the next 75 years and celebrate their past as well.
