Screenplay Workshop for Middle Schoolers

Screenplay Workshop for Middle Schoolers

Presented by Salt Lake City Public Library Marmalade Branch at Salt Lake City Public Library Marmalade Branch

Middle schoolers interested in film can learn the basics of how to storyboard and write a screenplay/script. Led by instructors from the Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts.

Students will learn about one of the very first processes of developing a film — How to write a script. In this class, we will begin with the basics, understand the importance of storyboarding, before moving into the elements that make up a script. By the end of the class, students will be able to turn their storyboard into a one-page script that can potentially lead to a longer work.

In partnership with the Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts
