Lecture | Rural Utah at a Crossroads with Greg Smoak

Join U of U history professor Greg Smoak (state scholar for the Crossroads Utah tour) on an exploration of the tensions between the ideals and realities of life in rural Utah as change – past and present – affects our communities. This presentation will encourage thinking and conversations about rural Utah and our own community.

This event is part of the programming for the Museum on Main Street exhibition, Crossroads: Change in Rural America, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and Utah Humanities, touring in partnership with the Brigham CIty Museum. Crossroads will be at Brigham City Museum of Art and History from May 4 to June 22, 2024. Hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10:00am-5:00pm and Saturday 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Free Admission. Group tours and field trips available on request.
