The XTERRA Trail Run National Championship returns to the beautiful Snowbasin Resort near Ogden, Utah, and it will once again attract some of the best trail runners from across the country.
The XTERRA Trail Run Nationals was staged at Snowbasin Resort for the first time in 2011, and it received rave reviews from the runners. Former XTERRA Trail Run national champion Max King of Bend, Oregon, said of the course at Snowbasin Resort: “I love my hometown of Bend, but this was, I gotta say, a great course. It was a lot more climbing than we get in Bend, so this was tough.”
Runners of all ages and skill levels can participate in the XTERRA Trail Run National Championship, as there is no qualifying process.
There will be three different courses to accommodate the various levels of runners. A 21-kilometer half-marathon course will serve as the national championship course, but there will also be 10K and 5K fun runs for the whole family.
