Camp Floyd State Park will host a Civil War Encampment on Memorial Day Weekend. This fun event allows visitors to experience camp life and participate in several activities performed by soldiers of Johnston's Army. Events include battle reenactments for kids, encampments, stagecoach rides (Monday 1:00pm to 3:00pm), firearm and cannon demonstrations, marches, drills, 1861 period games, and photos in period uniform.
