Family Art Activity: Journey Stories Journal Sketc...

Family Art Activity: Journey Stories Journal Sketc...

Presented by Utah Humanities at Uintah County Library

Journey Stories are tales of how, when, and why we move around. From short day trips to long moves leaving everything behind for a new life. Recording your journey story is important for you and your family. For this family art activity we will make a journal sketchbook to record your own journey story. Workshop conducted by Education Curators from Utah Museum of Fine Arts.

This family activity day accompanies the Smithsonian Journey Stories exhibition, stopping in Vernal from July 19 – September 5, 2014 at the Uintah County Heritage Museum, 155 E Main Street, Vernal, UT. This activity is hosted in partnership with the Uintah County Library, 204 East 100 North, Vernal, UT. For more information see www.uintahlibrary.org

Journey Stories is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the Utah Humanities Council. For more information about the Utah tour, see www.utahhumanities.org/journeystories.htm
